The Gaul Of Those Jewish Jooz, Judaizing The Jewish Capital City of Jerusalem

A senior Iranian lawmaker has condemned the recent bill passed by the Israeli Knesset, calling the al-Quds (Jerusalem) Judaization project as unacceptable.
Head of the Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi said on Tuesday that “as the first Muslim Kiblah, al-Quds (Jerusalem) will forever remain the capital of Palestine.”
The Iranian lawmaker made the remarks in reaction to the Knesset bid to declare al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the “united capital” of the entire Jewish population of the world.
He further called on the Islamic nations and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to adopt a strong stance against the bill, which aims to justify the enforcement of demographic transformation in the city by evacuating its Arab residents and further expanding the construction of the Jewish settlements.
“This is not the first time that the Zionist regime [of Israel] makes such an effort but such a regime whose existence is completely illegitimate and unacceptable cannot do this,” Boroujerdi.
The Iranian lawmaker then pointed to the Velayat 90 naval drills and said the maneuver has sent a warning message to those employing the “literature of sanction” against Iran.
Boroujerdi went on to say that the 10-day drill, which was launched on December 24, 2011, served to show the Islamic Republic's defensive might.
The Velayat 90 naval drill took place in line with a recent directive by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who instructed Iranian Armed Forces to maintain total readiness to defend the nation against any potential threats.
Iran maintains that the maneuvers are defensive in nature and intend to convey a message of peace and friendship to regional countries. It has also extended a public invitation to regional states to conduct joint naval drills with Iranian forces.

Didn't See This One Coming ... Turns Out That Iranian Women Are Against "Polygamy" ... Go Figure!

On a summer night in 2008, the wives of some Iranian members of Parliament started receiving phone calls.
“Would you mind if I married your husband – just for a week?” asked the female voice on the end of the line.
The callers argued that taking another wife is a Muslim man’s right. By allowing it, the MPs’ wives would be performing a good Islamic deed. Some of the wives hung up in shock.
But marrying the MPs was the last thing the callers actually wanted. In reality, they were women’s rights activists opposed to a controversial “Family Protection Bill” which the Iranian government proposed in 2007.
The activists say they discovered that at least 65 male members of the country’s 290-strong parliament had two or more wives. This is despite the fact that polygamy contravenes the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), which Iran has ratified. Article 23 stipulates that states must ensure that men and women have equal rights when marrying or at the dissolution of marriage.   More Here ... Amnesty International

It's Those Damn Jooz! ...(Again)

'Zionists behind anti-Iran moves by US'

Ali Saeedi Shahroudi, the representative of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei at the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps
PressTV  A senior Iranian cleric says the US administration drafted the recent International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) resolution against Iran to gain the support of the Zionist lobby ahead of the 2012 US presidential election.

The United States Washington is threatening Iran and taking measures against the Islamic Republic because the US is under domestic and foreign pressure, especially from Saudi Arabia and the Zionist lobby, Ali Saeedi Shahroudi, the representative of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei at the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, was quoted by IRNA as saying on Friday.

In its November 18 resolution against the Islamic Republic, the IAEA Board of Governors voiced “deep and increasing concern” about Tehran's nuclear program and said Iran and the IAEA should enhance dialogue in order to resolve the dispute over the Iranian nuclear energy program.

The United States, Israel, and some of their allies accuse Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear program.

Yet, as a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the IAEA, Iran maintains that it has every right to develop and acquire nuclear technology meant for peaceful purposes.

Saeedi that Israel and Saudi Arabia are very displeased about the fact that Iran has become a major player in the region in recent years.

He went on to say that the US allegation that Iran was involved in a plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington is another example of the United States bowing to foreign pressure.

On October 11, the US Justice Department accused Iran of plotting to assassinate Saudi Arabian Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir, with help from a man suspected of being a member of a Mexican drug cartel.

However, Tehran says the media hype created by Washington is an attempt to deflect attention from the anti-corruption and anti-corporatism protests currently rocking the country.

Iranians traveling to Israel could go to prison for up to five years instead of only three months, after Iran's parliament revised an existing ban for such trips.
The measure reflects Tehran's security concerns over archenemy Israel. Iran claims to have dismantled several purported Israeli spy rings in recent years and arrested Iranians with alleged links to Mossad.
Iranian state TV on Monday reported that parliament passed a new amendment, expanding the current prison term for travel to Israel to between two and five years. Under a 1972 ban imposed by U.S.-backed Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, offenders faced possible imprisonment of up to three months.

Iran Court Gives Ahmadinejad Press Adviser One Year in Jail

An Iranian court has sentenced the press adviser of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to one year in prison and banned him from engaging in media activities for three years, the state-run Mehr news agency reported.

Ali Akbar Javanfekr made comments against the Islamic dress code for women, Mehr said, citing the court’s ruling. He published in August an article deemed to be “in violation of Islamic principles” while overseeing the management of the state-run daily newspaper Iran, according to the Mehr report, which didn’t provide details.
Javanfekr wrote in a publication that the practice of women wearing a head-to-toe black cloth, known as a chador in Iran, wasn’t originally an Iranian practice and had been imported, theAssociated Press reported. Javanfekr has 20 days to appeal the sentence, AP said.

No Sex Slaves in Iran! ... Really? ... Hmmm?

Islam and Sex Slaves: 84,000 girls in Iran
"In 2002, a BBC journalist was deported for taking photographs of prostitutes. Officials told her: 'We are deporting you … because you have taken pictures of prostitutes. This is not a true reflection of life in our Islamic Republic. We don’t have prostitutes.' Yet, earlier the same year, officials of the Social Department of the Interior Ministry suggested legalizing prostitution as a way to manage it and control the spread of HIV. They proposed setting-up brothels, called “morality houses,” and using the traditional religious custom of temporary marriage, in which a couple can marry for a short period of time, even an hour, to facilitate prostitution."
In her report, Islamic Fundamentalism and the Sex Slave Trade in Iran, Donna M. Hughes of the University of Rhode Island paints a dark picture where goverment officials and Islamic religious teachers alike sexually exploit young girls. Although she doesn't go into much detail, Hughes does acknowledge the fact that certain Islamic teachings (like 'temporary marriage' mentioned above) play a serious role in permitting and perpetuating the global sex slave trade.
"Women and girls have no guarantees of freedom and rights, and no expectation of respect or dignity from the Islamic fundamentalists," she writes. The statistics are shocking: in Tehran alone there are an estimated 84,000 women and girls in prostitution. Iranian girls are also trafficked abroad, providing sex slaves to Muslim men in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and beyond. Hughes writes of one case, in which a 16-year-old girl was smuggled to Turkey to be sold to a 58-year-old European national for $20,000.
The worst part? The Islamic goverment of Iran is not interested in cracking down on those who enslave women. It's just business as usual to them.
"Given the totalitarian rule in Iran, most organized activities are known to the authorities. The exposure of sex slave networks in Iran has shown that many mullahs and officials are involved in the sexual exploitation and trade of women and girls. Women report that in order to have a judge approve a divorce they have to have sex with him.  Women who are arrested for prostitution say they must have sex with the arresting officer. There are reports of police locating young women for sex for the wealthy and powerful mullahs."

Annihilation of Zionist Regime

Iranian MP Stresses Annihilation of Zionist Regime in Case of Aggression against Iran

TEHRAN (FNA)- Tel Aviv is not capable of waging a military attack on Iran, but in case it embarks on such a foolishness, the result will be nothing but its annihilation, an Iranian legislator stressed Sunday.

Pointing to the recent Israeli war rhetoric against Iran, member of the parliament's Cultural Commission Sattar Hedayatkhah told FNA, "Enemies of the Iranian nation know that putting these threats into action would amount to the destruction of the Zionist regime as promised by (the late founder of the Islamic Republic) Imam Khomeini."

"Given the current conditions of the Zionist regime and the Islamic Republic of Iran's power, enemies of the great Iranian nation should know that if these threats are put into action, their cost will definitely be nothing but annihilation of the Zionist regime."

On November 4, Israeli President Shimon Peres said that an attack on Iran was becoming increasingly more likely.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Israel's parliament (Knesset) on October 31 in an effort to garner support for a military attack on Iran over its nuclear program.

In reply senior Iranian officials described the threats as "foolish" remarks, and warned that friends and allies of the Islamic Revolution would destroy Israel before it can make the slightest military move against Iran.

"This is just a baseless allegation because the Zionist regime is engaged in a war over its survival in Tel Aviv today," Vice Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Ebrahimi told FNA.

Also, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) top officials warned the Zionist regime of Iran's crushing response to any act of aggression, saying that an attack on Iran would put an end to Israel's existence.

"If the Zionist regime (of Israel) commits such a mistake, it would mean that it has entered the final days of its existence since the Islamic Republic of Iran is a powerful and strong country which can defend its territorial integrity and interests across the globe, specially in the Middle-East," IRGC Politburo Chief Javani told FNA on Tuesday.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has some means and possibilities in areas very close to the Zionist regime and can easily give a response to Israel to make its leaders repent their action," the official stated.

Follow Up: Iranian Footballers face flogging under chastity law

Tehran - Two Iranian soccer players are facing a public flogging of 74 lashes for celebrating a team goal. Their behaviour, which included hugging and bottom pinching, was deemed inappropriate and immoral, and may have violated Iran's chastity law.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad famously claimed during a visit to New York
"In Iran we don't have homosexuals like you do in your country. This does not exist in our country." (Guardian).
An edict punishes homosexuality with prison or death in the Islamic Republic, but now it has been interpreted in the most extreme fashion as footballers celebrating a team goal have been charged with committing an immoral act on the playing field.
According to FARS two footballers who play for Iran's Persepolis team
"involved themselves in immoralities, grabbing and squeezing the backside of unidentified teammates."
The incident was caught by State TV which was broadcasting the match between Persepolios and Damash in the Iranian Premier League.
The two players' involved were Defender Mohammad Nosrati and Sheys Rezaei. Both were banned from further matches for an indefinite period and according to RT were each fined the equivalent of $40,000. Persepolios was also fined. Additionally the two men are now facing a public flogging of 74 lashes which will take place at the football ground.
Judge Valiollah has said that Rezaei and Nostrati may have violated Iran's chastity law, in which case they could also receive two months in prison in additon to the lashes. Valiollah stressed the immoral nature of the bottom pinching incident saying
"It is even worse to perform these actions before the eyes of thousands of spectators and TV cameras."

The Vanishing Little Star of Bethlehem

News coming out of the Middle-East in the last few months has focused on two principal areas: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the so-called “Arab Spring”. The headlines have been restricted to these two topics. Buried deep within the bodies of such prestigious papers as the New YorkTimes, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times, if covered at all, are stories of the on-going destruction and persecution of millennia-old Christian communities within the cradle of Christianity: the Middle-East. The phenomenon is not exactly new; it’s been going on for decades if not centuries, but the growth and spread of Islamic fundamentalism within the last decade and the overthrow of Western-oriented Arab dictatorships has set in motion a rising tide of anti-Christian behavior that threatens to wipe out Christianity in the Middle-East in what amounts to a repetition of what has occurred to Jewish communities throughout Islamic nations within the past six decades since the creation of the Jewish State of Israel.
Five nations that demonstrate the ongoing obliteration of Christianity in the region will serve to illustrate the point: Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Iran.
We start with Egypt, a nation of eighty million with a 10 % minority population of eight million Coptic Christians. The Coptic Church is one of the world’s oldest, and its appearance in Egypt precedes Islam by at least half a millennium. Earlier this past month, Copts throughout Egypt organized demonstrations to protest the fire-bombing of a church in upper Egypt the prior week, as well as one  back in mid-March, and the on-going campaign of harassment by Islamists in the region. At the October 9, 2011 demonstration in front of the Maspero district headquarters of the national television network, attended by a reported figure of 10,000 Copts,  the Egyptian army opened fire with live ammunition, killing Copts indiscriminately. Then armored military vehicles appeared driving into the crowds randomly, causing widespread mayhem. Final tally: 24 dead and over 300 wounded. The on-going Islamist attacks against the Copts are causing many to consider seeking refuge in the West.
Let’s move on to Iraq. Twenty years ago, Iraq’s Christian community numbered over a million members. A decade ago, out of a total population of almost 24 million, 850,000 identified as Christians. Today, with a population of 30.7 million, the Christian population appears to be less than 335,000. What has happened? Although the new Iraqi constitution guarantees freedom of religion, there is no provision in the Iraqi system for those that wish to convert, especially if it is from Islam to Christianity. And radical Islam has been launching attacks on Christian Iraqis ever since
Saddam Hussein’s ouster. This past year has seen the level of violence increase, starting with last year’s al-Qaeda attack on Our Lady of Deliverance Syrian Catholic Church in Baghdad which left 52 dead. Anti-Christian persecution continues, unabated.
In Afghanistan, along with the country being virtually “Judenfrei” or “Judenrein”, it is now free of any overt symbol of Christianity with the destruction of the last remaining church in March 2010. The U.S. State Department’s recently released report on religious freedom indicates that the small native Christian population feels tremendous pressure to remain out of sight, and the case of the Moslem who converted to Christianity and was nearly executed under Afghanistan’s Sharia law for Islamic apostasy demonstrates that freedom of conscience does not exist in present day Afghanistan despite the presence of American and NATO forces in that country for a decade.
When we turn to the Palestinian Territories, we are looking at the birthplace of Christianity. To see this two millennia community threatened with disappearance must be gut-wrenching for devout Christians. But like it or not, the Christian Arab population of the Holy Land faces the threat of extinction. The causes are many, but explosive Muslim birth rates compared with bare replacement rates among Arab Christians have caused the Christian percentage of the Palestinian Territories to diminish sharply. In actuality, the Palestinian Christian population has increased in the past forty-four years from 42,494 in 1967 to slightly more than 50,000 today. However, because of the changing percentage ratios of Christians to Muslims in the greater Bethlehem area—a region traditionally associated with very high percentages of Christian populations (70-95%)—the decreases to 28-60% appear as precipitous declines. More Here

IAEA to reveal Iran building nuclear weapons at base near Tehran

UN nuclear watchdog to release report on activities this week; Iran has carried out experiments in the final stage for developing nuclear weapons including explosions and computer simulations of explosions.

Iran is pursuing its nuclear weapons program at the Parchin military base about 30 kilometers from Tehran, diplomatic sources in Vienna say. The Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency is expected to release a report this week on Iran's nuclear
activities.

According to recent leaks, Iran has carried out experiments in the final, critical stage for developing nuclear weapons - weaponization. This includes explosions and computer simulations of explosions. The Associated Press and other media outlets have reported that satellite photos of the site reveal a bus-sized container for conducting experiments.

Parchin serves as a base for research and development of missile weaponry and explosive material. It also has hundreds of structures and a number of fortified tunnels and bunkers for carrying out explosive experiments.

As far back as eight years ago, U.S. intelligence sources received information indicating that the bunkers would also be suitable to develop nuclear weapons. According to that information, Iran conducted experiments there to examine its capacity to simulate a nuclear explosion.

The Iranians rejected an IAEA request to visit Parchin, saying that IAEA rules permitted the organization's member states to deny such visits to military bases. Now, eight years later, the site is again suspected as a location for covert military nuclear activity.
Sources say that this time around, the IAEA report will contain clearer language on military aspects of the Iranian nuclear program.

The report is in the final drafting stages and will need the approval of the IAEA's director general, Yukiya Amano.

According to information leaked to the media, the report will include a 12-page appendix with details including documents and satellite photos that support the contention that, in violation of its international obligations, Iran is covertly developing nuclear weapons.
The report is also expected to detail Iranian's progress on uranium enrichment at its Natanz facility and state that the Islamic Republic still refuses to disclose information on various aspects of its atomic program. This in turn arouses suspicions that Iran is hiding information and is indeed developing nuclear weapons.

Previous IAEA reports have said Iran already has four and a half tons of uranium at Natanz that are enriched at 3.5 percent. If such a quantity is enriched to 90 percent, something Iran has the capacity for, it will be enough to produce fissile material for four or five nuclear bombs.

The report is expected to state that Iran has also begun to install centrifuges at a facility near Qom that is built underground to shield the site from an air attack.

Both the Natanz and Qom sites, however, are subject to regular visits by IAEA inspectors. Any decision on moving to the final stage in a nuclear weapons program would largely be up to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with the assistance of two military advisers.

In any event, diplomats say it is unlikely the IAEA's governing board will condemn Iran when it meets on November 17 and 18. It might take months to convince China and Russia to support a board resolution that could be the first step toward additional UN sanctions, they say.
