A TERRORIST wanna-be from Staten Island ratted out dozens of people he called pro-jihadists in New York and Hawaii after he was arrested by the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorist Task Force, it was revealed Tuesday.

Abdel Hameed Shehadeh was a fount of information when lawmen interrogating him last year in Honolulu showed him more than 40 photos of possible evildoers, according to court papers filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.

Shehadeh’s lawyer is seeking to suppress the 22-page FBI report in which Shehadeh spills his guts.

The alleged rogues’ gallery he describes includes Brooklyn teachers of the Islamic orthodoxy Salafism, a livery cab driver, an Ethiopian Muslim in the U.S. Army and a College of Staten Island student who attended a fund-raiser at Brooklyn College for a terrorist.

Others he ID’d had delivered pro-jihadist speeches at mosques or ranted in online chat rooms, he said, and included a reputed member of the terror group Hamas who lives in Syracuse.

Most bizarre is the homeless husband-and-wife — she comes from a wealthy family and he drives a luxury BMW sedan — who watched a beheading video with Shehadeh, according to an FBI report.

Shehadeh recalled attending a lecture at the Brooklyn Islamic Center in 2008 with someone named “Omar” and a second man who peddled pro-jihad T-shirts. “Almost everything [Omar] and his friend . . . talked about was jihad,” the report states.

The names of the persons of interest are being withheld by the Daily News because Shehadeh’s claims could not be independently confirmed.

Shehadeh’s lawyer publicly filed the FBI report as part of a motion to suppress his client’s post-arrest snitching and statements about his own radicalization.

Shehadeh signed an affidavit claiming he was tricked into waiving his constitutional right against self-incrimination.

The Brooklyn-born Shehadeh, 22, is charged with lying to the feds about a failed attempt to travel to Pakistan and join the Taliban.

He also tried to join the U.S. Army himself, but was rejected because he failed to disclose his overseas trips.

“At some point after stopping the interview, Shehadeh was asked what he was thinking about. (He) answered, ‘How much I incriminated myself,’ ” Special Agent John Tinning and Detective Angel Maysonet wrote.

Somalia: Terrorist linked group of Shabab has on Sunday beheaded two young boys and placed their dead bodies in Afmadow district of lower Jubba region, southern, reports said.

Residents in Afmodaw district saw dead bodies of two young teenagers placed in the city this morning by militant group of Shabab, reports said.

It’s not known the reason of young boys’ killing but it is not something new to rebel group of Shabab of doing evil acts against human life.

ZAMBOANGA, Philippines:  At least two people were killed and more than 20 others wounded in an explosion in a small hotel in the troubled southern Philippines on Sunday, rescue workers said.

Philippine Red Cross personnel at the scene of the blast in the southern port city of Zamboanga said they had taken out at least two dead bodies and numerous severely injured people.

Police investigators searching through the wreckage said the blast appeared to be caused by a bomb, but would give no further details.

The explosion destroyed the two-storey Atilano Pension House and shattered glass windows of surrounding buildings, AFP journalists at the scene said.

The city of Zamboanga has been the target of frequent bomb attacks, often carried out by Islamic extremists from the surrounding areas or nearby islands.

In late-October, a bomb killed two people in a roadside eatery even as two other bombs were found and safely disposed of in Zamboanga City.

The lawless areas outside the city are haunts of various armed groups such as Muslim rebels, Al-Qaeda-linked extremists and extortion gangs that have used bombs in the past.

Kano, Nigeria:  Three policemen were shot and injured when suspected members of Islamist sect Boko Haram attacked a police station, a bank and a beer parlour in Yobe state, a security official said Sunday.

The gunmen threw explosives into a police station and an abandoned beer parlour in the town of Geidam, 160 kilometres (100 miles) from the state capital Damaturu, residents had said.

The attackers, armed with Kalashnikov rifles, also bombed a bank near the police station and carted away money from its vault.

Six churches, a shopping complex owned by a Christian and 11 cars parked therein were also destroyed by the assailants, he stated.

During the police station attack the assailants freed detained suspects and set the premises ablaze, making off with arms and ammunition,  a senior official of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Geidam town said.

Mali: Al-Qaeda gunmen have kidnapped three foreign tourists and killed a fourth in Timbuktu in Mali.

The kidnappers burst into a restaurant and grabbed the tourists, believed to be German, Dutch, Swedish and South African, who were dining there. The German was killed when he resisted.

Two French citizens were also kidnapped from Hombori in Mali last week. The Foreign Office warned against travel to northern Mali because of the risk of attacks by a local al-Qa'ida group.

‘Taliban Woman’ Causes Terror Alert In Yerushalayim

A women dressed in the latest burka fashion sparked a terrorist alert in downtown Yerushalayim today, 25 Cheshvan. The incident occurred on King George Street, as security guards spotted the person in the hooded garb and feared the worst, while passersby distanced themselves from the presumed female, fearing a suicide bomber, in downtown Jerusalem. Alarmed citizens summoned police.
A team of motorcycle commandos arrived, but the suspected terrorist had already walked into an alley, but police followed and ordered the person to remove her head piece. The Gideon commandos learned it was a journalist working undercover, literally, seeking to examine the response of the general public to the new fashion statement appearing in a small sector of the chareidi community.
Needless to say the journalist did not hesitate to comply with orders of the commandos who had weapons drawn and appeared to be in no mode for hesitation or non-compliance. Baruch Hashem for their superior training, which permitted them to act as they did without opening fire and chas v’sholom wounding or killing an innocent person as persons in the area were panicking.

It can be assumed that the incident will spark an outcry of concern regarding those women who today dress this way regularly and the concerns of police and other security agencies.

The mother of homegrown terror suspect Jose Pimentel says she loves the city — and her son.

“I want to apologize to the City of New York,” Carmen Sosa, 56, said Monday in the lobby of a Harlem apartment building.

“I love the city. I’ve been here since 1987 and I’m very disappointed with what my son was doing. I didn’t raise him that way.

“I feel very bad about the situation. I thank the police. They did what they’re supposed to do.”

Sosa said her son’s personality began to change after the then-teenager swapped salsa for Islam about five years ago.

“My son was a normal American guy,” she said. “He did what young people do. Then he became a Muslim and he changed.”

Pimentel, 27, was born in the Dominican Republic but raised in Manhattan until a move to Schenectady about 2005.

That year, he was busted for stealing credit card information from a customer at a store where he worked and using it to try to buy a computer, prosecutors said.

He ultimately pleaded guilty to a stolen property charge and was sentenced to five years’ probation.

While in Schenectady, he got married and had a son, who is now 4, his mother said.

The marriage was troubled. Cops were called to the house twice in 2008 for reports of domestic violence.
After a 2009 divorce, Pimentel failed to pay more than $9,000 in child support, and three warrants have been issued, records show.

Schenectady County District Attorney Robert Carney said there was nothing in
Pimentel’s court file “speaking to anything about terrorism” — but the suspect’s mother was getting worried about his fascination with Islam.

When he started reading the Koran in 2001, Sosa wasn’t happy because she’s a Catholic, but she noted that “in beginning, he wasn’t a fanatic.”

“He prayed and went to the mosque,” she said.

Over time, he stopped writing and listening to salsa music and spent his days praying, reading and sleeping.

Damn it All! ... Religion of Peace Hijacked Again!

An al-Qaida sympathiser has been arrested and charged over an alleged terrorist plot targeting New York police vehicles, postal facilities and US troops returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Jose Pimentel, 27, a US citizen of Washington Heights in the northern end of Manhattan, was described as a "lone wolf" and was "not a part of a larger conspiracy".

Pimentel, a native of the Dominican Republic who converted to Islam, has been charged with conspiracy to build a bomb for terrorist purposes.

He had been monitored by police since 2009, NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly said at a press conference with Bloomberg, and had decided to build a bomb about August this year as he grew increasingly aggressive.

Pimentel "made even some of his like-minded friends nervous" with his extremism, Kelly said.

Among his outlandish ideas included changing his name to Osama Hussein, in honour of his heroes -- slain al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and executed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

He relied largely on al-Qaida's Inspire magazine -- founded by US-born radical cleric Anwar al Awlaki, killed this year in a US drone strike -- according to Kelly, in particular "a notorious article entitled 'How to build a bomb in the kitchen of your mom".

Bloomberg said the suspect was motivated by his own resentment of the presence of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The mayor said the man represented exactly the kind of threat US intelligence agencies have warned about.

Pimentel - also known as Muhummad Yusuf - was arrested at 3:30pm on Saturday without incident at his Washington Heights apartment.

"Yesterday afternoon New York city police officers arrested a 27-year-old al-Qaida sympathiser who was plotting to bomb police patrol cars and also postal facilities as well as targeting members of our armed forces returning from abroad," Bloomberg said.

Pimentel allegedly planned to fill home-made bombs with nails and first detonate them in mailboxes, so New Yorkers would know they had been targeted in an act of jihad - Islamic holy war.

Investigators told The New York Times that Pimentel bought bomb-making materials at a 99-cent store and at a Home Depot in the Bronx. He was under surveillance by police when he bought elbow joints, gloves and Christmas lights at the Home Depot.

Authorities built a duplicate of Pimental's alleged device, detonating it at a secure location, and at Sunday's press conference officials showed a video of the device blowing apart a car.

Kelly stressed police never had any intention of allowing Pimentel to create an active bomb - hence the timing of Saturday's raid, as he moved to the next stage of his weapon-building.

Kelly said the death of Awlaki on September 30 might have set Pimentel off and "motivated him and made him increase his tempo quite significantly."

Kelly also said Pimentel had made attempts to visit Yemen and had talked about going "to train for jihad," but never went.

He used to live in Manhattan, then moved for five years to Schenectady in upstate New York, before returning to New York City after his divorce.

Bloomberg lauded additional NYPD resources dedicated to counter-terrorism, saying, "This is just another case where our precautions paid off."

"There have been at least 13 previous terror attacks since 9/11 targeting New York City. This would be the 14th.

Because of such repeated threats, the NYPD remains focused on preventing another terrorist attack," the mayor said.

This case was reminiscent of another "lone wolf" plot in 2004, in which two local residents disgruntled over the treatment of prisoners in Iraq, plotted to plant a bomb in the Herald Square subway station, the mayor added.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the arrest "demonstrates once again the effectiveness and bravery of our men and women in law enforcement."

"As families across our state gather this holiday season, we will continue to remain in close contact with our federal and local law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of all New Yorkers," he added.

His father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, is a founding leader of Hamas, internationally recognized as a terrorist organization and responsible for countless suicide bombings and other deadly attacks against Israel.

Yousef was an integral part of the movement, for which he was imprisoned several times by the Shin Bet, the Israeli intelligence service. He withstood torture in prison only to discover Hamas was torturing its own people in a relentless search for collaborators. He began to question who his enemies really were— Israel? Hamas? America? After a chance encounter with a British tourist, Yousef started a six-year quest that jeopardized Hamas, endangered his family and threatened his life.

He has since embraced the Christian faith and sought political asylum in America.
