Killer (Levi Bellfield) changes name to Mohammed
and converts to Islam
The thug who killed schoolgirl Milly Dowler has changed his name to Mohammed, prays to Allah five times a day and eats halal meat.
But staff at Wakefield prison believe he has only switched to get special privileges.
And others are convinced the cowardly 43-year-old wants to keep in with Muslim terrorists who recently caused him problems.
An insider said: “He is becoming a Muslim.
“His diet must be cooked to halal guidelines. It is generally accepted the food is better.
"The guards are convinced Bellfield is doing this for better meals and a cushier life.
"He has the right to pray five times a day so it gives him a break.
"Some staff think he may have become a Muslim to impress the extremists he had trouble with.”
Bellfield murdered Milly, 13, at Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, in March 2002, Marsha McDonnell, 19, the next year and 22-year-old Amelie Delagrange in 2004.
