Muslim Brotherhood activists vow to 'one day kill all Jews'
Cairo - The Muslim Brotherhood held a rally at the al Azhar mosque in Cairo on Friday. The rally turned into one of the most venomous anti-Semitic rallies in recent times. About 5,000 joined the rally calling for "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization."
The rally was scheduled to coincide with the anniversary of the UN partition plan in 1947, which called for establishment of the state of Israel.
Ynet News reports that most people who came for the regular Friday prayers left before the Muslim Brotherhood rally began, but other people joined the rally.
Propaganda leaflets, Palestinian and Egyptian flags were distributed. Speakers at the rally delivered angry speeches and condemned the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews," and made calls for a Jihad to liberate Palestine.
NY Daily News reports that a leading religious leader, Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb, claimed in his speech that the Jews worldwide were planning to break up Islam and Egypt. According to al-Tayeb:
Business men at the rally were urged to donate to the cause and invest in land in Jerusalem.
An elementary school teacher told Ynet News outside the mosque: "...all Egyptian Muslims are willing to embark on Jihad for the sake of Palestine...Why is the US losing in Afghanistan? Because the other side is willing and wants to die. We have a different mentality than that of the Americans and Jews."

According to Ynet News, attendants and speakers at the rally repeatedly said: "one day we shall kill all the Jews."
