For those Muslims in Australia, who don't feel Hijra is necessary (majority), then you must strive to distinguish yourselves here and grow into examples --personally & governmentally.

We introduce to you a proposal: ' The Lakemba Project'; Shari'ah controlled zone in Australia's most populated Muslim area.

Muslims should set up Islamic emirates in Australia.

We encourage all Muslims to live amongst Muslims and to prefer trade, dealings etc... amongst themselves and to ensure that they do not go to non-Islamic courts for arbitration, since this would be associating with Allah a partner. As Allah (SWT) says: 'Have you seen those who claim to believe in what was revealed to you and what was revealed before you, yet they seek to go to other than Allah for judgement, while they were ordered to reject that? The Shaytaan has led them astray a clear misguidance (they are mushriks (polytheists))'

In addition we encourage all Muslims to set up Islamic schools which teach the Islamic curriculum and do not teach the non-Islamic way of life or their beliefs below the age of maturity.

Moreover we suggest it is time that areas with large Muslim populations might declare an emirate delineating that Muslims within this area are trying to live by the shari'ah as much as possible, with their own courts and community watch and schools and even self sufficient trade. The most likely area for these projects might be Lakemba to begin with. In time we can envisage that the whole of the Shari'ah might one day be implemented starting with these enclaves.

There are many narrations of the Messenger Muhammad (saw) where he said that it is not allowed for a Muslim to live among the non-Muslims, without to distinguish his Deen (i.e. Islam). These measures will help to achieve this insha'allah.

Extremists jailed for 'evil' terror plot

They are Islamic extremists who see the people of Australia as infidels and planned to become martyrs by shooting up a Sydney army base.

Wissam Mahmoud Fattal, 35, Saney Edow Aweys, 28, and Nayef El Sayed, 27, planned to kill as many people as possible in a mass shooting at Holsworthy Army base to advance the cause of Islam.

It was their way of repaying Australia - the country that had welcomed and nurtured them and their families.

On Friday, the three would-be terrorists remained defiant as Victorian Supreme Court Justice Betty King sentenced them to 18 years in prison.

Lebanese-born Fattal, 35, was ejected from the court just as Justice King began her sentencing remarks.

He stood up and began ranting, "Why don't stop this corruption" and also spoke of Palestine and Afghanistan.

El Sayed, who was born in Australia to Lebanese parents, left his remarks to the end.

As he passed the judge's chair, he said, "Allah gives us justice, not these courts."

They were in no mood to take Justice King's advice and be remorseful for what they had done.

"The fact that Australia welcomed all of you and nurtured you and your families is something that should cause you all to hang your heads in shame that this was the way you planned to show your thanks for that support," she said.

"Your plans were evil. Your intentions, your plan were deadly serious. You intended to plan a random shooting of anyone you found on that army base, be it army personnel, civilian, male or female."

Justice King said it would have been a totally horrific event if their planning had ever come to pass.

She said all three showed no remorse and had not renounced their extremist beliefs.

Fattal was especially rigid in his beliefs, she said.

"The views you have adopted are clearly extremist views in terms of the interpretation of the Koran, including that all persons who are not Muslims and those persons who are Muslims but not practising faithfully, according to you, are people who are infidels," she said.

"You are an intolerant Muslim in that you believe everything has to be done in your way and no other."

During a three-month trial in 2010, the court heard the men wanted to advance Islam, which they believed was under attack from the West, including Australia.

Most of the prosecution case relied on transcripts of secretly recorded telephone conversations.

They picked up strong anti-Australian views, with Somalian-born Aweys even celebrating the death toll in the Black Saturday bushfires.

"These filthy people are coming down, the economy goes first, factories are shutting down, fire is coming and there is no water," he was recorded saying in March 2009.

Fattal was caught on security footage walking around the boundary of the Holsworthy barracks and spoke of winning paradise if he killed Australian soldiers.

"If I find way to kill the army, I swear to Allah the great I'm going to do it," Fattal told an undercover police officer.

The men were arrested in pre-dawn raids across Melbourne in August 2009.

Two other Melbourne men - Yacqub Khayre, 23, of Meadow Heights, and Abdirahman Mohamud Ahmed, 26, of Preston - were cleared by a jury over their alleged roles in the terror plot.

As the sentences were delivered on Friday, family members wailed in shock, including one woman who screamed, "Oh my God!" and covered her mouth.

Fattal, of Melbourne, Aweys, of Carlton, and El Sayed, of Glenroy, were all found guilty of conspiring to prepare for or plan a terrorist act between February and August 2009.

They were ordered to serve a non-parole period of 13 and a half years.

Muslim that bashed his wife fears he will now be bashed

A DEVOUT Muslim fears violent retribution for getting drunk and bashing his wife, a court heard yesterday.

Waleed Almazyad, who is sponsored by the Saudi Arabian Government to study accountancy in Melbourne, is supposed to adhere to strict sharia law, which bans alcohol.

But Melbourne Magistrates' Court heard that, after sharing five bottles of beer with university mates one night, he returned home and bashed his wife.

Defence lawyer Carolene Gwynn said Almazyad had to deal not only with shame. There had been two known incidents of severe bashings being meted out to conservative Muslims who drank alcohol in breach of religious laws, she said.

Almazyad, 35, pleaded guilty to assault after hitting his wife several times in late 2009.

Police prosecutor Senior Constable Brooke Sheers said at one point Almazyad, who the court heard had never drunk alcohol before, dragged his wife by the hair.

She smashed a vase over his head, inflicting a scar beneath his eye.

"She did quite well for herself ... he does have a permanent reminder," Ms Gwynn said.

Almazyad faced being sent back to Saudi Arabia if convicted.

Magistrate Ian von Einem noted that a conviction would also see Almazyad's wife and children sent back to Saudi Arabia early.

He placed him a good behaviour bond, but warned him against committing further violence

Melbourne: Two Muslim men in Australia, who were accused of plotting a deadly terrorist attack, have been released on parole last week, and still remain a major threat to the nation’s security. 

Police fear Australian-born Aimen Joud and Ahmed Raad still pose a threat, as there are no signs that their anti-Western beliefs changed in prison. 

“Their radical and extreme views remain a concern,” the Herald Sun quoted an investigating officer, as saying. 

“While local police will be aware of where they are living, and will keep an eye on them when they can, there is not the manpower to do it constantly,” the officer added. 

Police Association Secretary Greg Davies said it was disturbing that the pair were likely not to be watched around the clock. 

Police secretly taped Joud and Raad laughing while watching and discussing sickening jihadi video footage of Muslim extremists beheading hostages and killing US soldiers. 

Both were senior members of a home-grown terror cell run by Muslim cleric Abdul Benbrika. 

Joud, 27, and Raad, 28, who were jailed for being members of a terrorist organisation and making funds available to it, were freed eight days ago, after serving non-parole terms of just six years behind bars, the report said. 

In 2008, a heard they had refused to renounce extremist beliefs, and that they continued to ‘adhere to the philosophy of violent jihad’.

Samuel Huntington died three years ago, and we still debate his idea that after the collapse of Communism, the world began splitting along cultural rather than ideological lines.

The eminent political scientist first collected his thoughts together as a provocative essay in 1993 published by Foreign Affairs magazine titled The Clash of Civilisations?

He was more certain of his ideas when expanding on them for a book three years later: The question mark had gone.

Eight years before the World Trade Centre was levelled by 19 Islamic terrorists dedicating their handiwork to the greatness of their god, Huntington saw future conflict arising from such cultural tensions and by lunchtime on September 11 many of those who remembered reading his theory thought he had seen the future clearer than Nostradamus.

But like the infamously vague and fraudulent French seer, Huntington's ideas have less purchase the further we move from 1993.

Early on the public enthusiastically took to Huntington's ideas, notwithstanding the flight of intellectuals. But components of his arguments seem profoundly correct, even if it is possible that their embrace might make them self-fulfilling, particularly the existential fight that significant parts of Islam imagine they are having with the West.

The West is not at war with Islam. We have launched a War on Terror, and the targeted terrorists are mostly Muslims, and we should kill them.

You can't negotiate with an extremist quoting the Koran as the reason he must murder your family.

We must kill him. Or her.

Nor can we negotiate with the mums and dads taking pride in their children strapping explosives to themselves to kill strangers in public places because they are envious of the fruits of advanced Western notions of democracy, education and equality.

Neither will we negotiate with those among us - right here in suburban Australia - who wish for sharia law and other sixth century accoutrements of the more primitive brand of Islam that have taken deadly hold elsewhere.

FEDERAL police are investigating a heartless website campaign by a Muslim extremist desecrating the memory of fallen soldiers.

As the bodies of three Diggers killed by a rogue Afghan soldier began their journey home this week, radical Ibrahim Siddiq-Conlon caused outrage among grieving families by launching a cruel Facebook page attacking the men, the Herald Sun reported.

The controversial site - The Australian Defence Force: The Real Terrorists - listed each of the 32 Australians to die in the Afghan conflict and accused them of being terrorists because of their military service.

The site was removed after the ADF received complaints and notified the Australian Federal Police and Facebook.

The AFP was yesterday evaluating the material on the site to assess whether a criminal offence had been committed.

The unapologetic Muslim convert, who received death threats soon after creating the site, has continued to trash dead Diggers by posting hate-fuelled messages on other Facebook pages.

"May they rot in hell," he wrote in one message.

In another posting he wrote: "I hope I got your blood boiling. That's what I like. It's my hobby. My fun. My pleasure."

Australian-born Mr Siddiq-Conlon, formerly known as Shannon James Conlon, also labelled his grandfathers terrorists because of their service for the Australian Army in Kokoda and the Middle East. He has said he was proud of being referred to as an "extremist" and "terrorist supporter".

Yesterday the outraged father of Greg Sher, killed in a 2009 Taliban attack, said he was devastated.

"Our soldiers are defenders and protectors, unlike many in other countries who are invaders," Felix Sher said.

"The greatest freedom in Australia is that you can leave it when you like - and Mr Siddiq-Conlon should exercise that as soon as possible. When you start preaching hate who needs you around?"

Mr Siddiq-Conlon, who has a masters degree in architecture, converted to Islam while a student.

He refused to back down yesterday over the website.

He said it was created to "spark a debate" about bringing the troops home from Afghanistan.

HUNDREDS of 17-year-old girls have been brought to Australia to get married under a government visa program.

Figures show more than 200 17-year-old girls have been granted Prospective Spouse visas over the past five years. Child safety campaigners branded the figures shocking and demanded an immediate inquiry.

Most are young women from the Middle East who are sometimes involved in arranged marriages. Hundreds more 18-, 19- and 20-year-old women have also received the visas after being sponsored by older men. Most of the teenagers are from the Middle East or South-East Asian countries.

One 17-year-old from Thailand was brought out by a 57-year-old man. Another 17-year-old Iraqi girl was sponsored by a 50-year-old.

More than 100 17-year-olds from Lebanon alone have been granted the visas after being sponsored by men aged from 19 to 37.

Visa conditions say girls must marry sponsors within nine months. Australian laws only allow minors to be married under strict conditions with court approval.

In another case, a Year 10 Lebanese girl from an area dominated by fanatic fundamentalist Muslim groups sought protection after she arrived in Australia on a Prospective Spouse visa for an arranged marriage with a man decades her senior, only to find he was a violent drunk who kept his previous wife and children next door.

The girl was granted a protection visa after she called her own family who threatened to kill her.

"I will kill you at the airport and I will bury you in the grave," the girl's family said in a letter.

The Australian Childhood Foundation's Joe Tucci described the figures as shocking and called for an urgent inquiry. "A thorough audit needs to be done to ensure these children are safe," he said. Child safety researcher Dr Chris Goddard said the figures were very disturbing and called for an inquiry.

An Immigration Department spokesman defended the program. "Applicants ... must meet a range of criteria ... including being able to demonstrate they are in a genuine and ongoing partner relationship with their sponsoring partner," he said.
